Red ring? :P
it did it again yesterday, quite annoying. might have to see the suto electrician
There's a possibility that ur battery is on the way out, did u check the voltage?
Either that or u have a issue in the BCM.
The Blue One
Had a similar thing on my dad's 05 VZ Exec.......... not exactly the same...... his car randomly cut out when driving (most thing crank sensor) but after further testing.......... we found it was a switch at the bottom of the key barrel causing the whole car to go nuts.....
put ur key in and wiggle it on start and on ........ if it does it again, see if ur dash flicks on and power cuts out on all the internals etc........ dash lights etc......
Otherwise perhaps your key is flat.

thanks,
did it agin this morning, the engine management relay seem to be pretty much ready to brn out, so i think that might have something to do with it, also i have some corrosion on the clamps that go onto the battery terminals (chunks of white powder and so on) and im thinking wen i turn the ignition to start there isnt enuf connectivity through the conection to turn it over and the computer reads an error or somewat. anyways thanks for the help fellas
mine does the same i even went and bought a new battery still does it on occasions but only when im on center rd as the missus pointed out hhmmm
well im pretty sure i found the problem, the battery terminals were not making a proper connectiokn due to some corrosion and the terminal crimp lug thing that goes gotes on the battery terminal wudnt do up any tighter and was quite loose so i basically smashed it down till it was tight and it hasnt played up since.
excuse my reatard mechanical talk. haha
wouldnt hurt to get someone to quickly check it out tho and see what the logged codes are.
Reason I say this is because there have been issues of BCM (or a similar module) failing in a similar way.
May just be dodgey battery connections, may be something worse.
