Hey guys,
Checked to see if this was posted already, but couldn't find anything solid.
Anyone know the easiest way to replace the bulbs in the Fog Lights of a VZ??
Or if there is a thread already available, if you could point me in the right direction!
Thanks,
Why do you need to replace the bulbs? If it's for additional illumination, don't.

not really ben boy. when the vehicle goes in for rego inspection and if the rego inspector deems it to b safe its rego pasable, if u have an engineer's certificate its also fine too. take it from a licensed mechanic and a licensed rego inspector mate.
bring ur car to me for rego inspection lmao. i dont have to pass u lol. i can practice rule 8.06 saying.. if i deem the car to be in an unsafe manner i am authorised not to pass for registration. hahahaha FAIL.
JOKES.
Thanks mate, I'll wait for those photos.
As for the post link, i did come across that, seemed like a lot of work for one globe, a few people told me its a simple clip in, remove, clip back process.
But I like to know what I'm doing instead of fishing.
I'll wait the photos...
i'll try and get a photo tomorrow, which side is it?

basically, disconnect the loom, undo the 3 nuts and then the light should come out.
there will be a small screw on the top front, undo that and the glass should come away from the back and you'll have access to the globe
Chev badges are an instant fail
you can do it without a pit/hoist if thats what your asking... its a bit of dicking around trying to get the nuts undone but i did it in about half an hour with no idea at all...
i layed on my back and looked under. prob be easier if you jack the car up so it not as tight a squeeze but it was easy enough.
no you wont need to remove the front bumper.
Chev badges are an instant fail
Seriously it take all of 5 mins to get the front bumper off! Make the job so much easier too.
It took me half an hour as above with no idea how to get it off..its not pretty hard..and I did'nt even jack the car up..now I can possible do it in 15-20 minutes...

Ahh the good old bumper removal thread. It's come in handy many a time. I recently put HIDs in my Stato and thought about doing a write up for it but after doing it once I'll only ever do it again if I have to.. it's a shit of a job.
How did you go with the foggies mate? Did you manage to get them out?
I havent had time to get around to it yet..been realy busy my girlfriends movin up to the GoldCoast to do her postgrad on Monday, so gettin her organised.
I'll have A LOT of spare time after that, so was plannin on gettin to it then, plus a few other things.
Just like to know what I'm doing before I go fishing, thus the early enquiries.
Will definitely let you know once it's done!
