Default Cant find CV8Z Fuel Filter

Need advice- I have just purchased a 2005 VZ CV8Z Monaro . I am doing all the right things servicing it , however I want to change the fuel filter- Damned if I can find it under the car??? This Monaro (for US market I believe) has the fuel tank up behind the rear seat- I looked all around inside the boot , around the tank , under the car right up to the engine , cannot find any fuel filter??? Does this model not have a fuel filter??? Anyone have a pic or can tell me where it is please.....

There is one in the tank (the service manual mentions cleaning it at about 200,000klm , but it also mentions replacing the external fuel filter underneath the car every 90,000klm. This is the one I cannot find.. HELP>>>>>>>

Have a look around your fuel tank, find the fuel lines and follow them all the way back to your motor. you should find it that way

VZ monaros (and cv8z) don't have an external fuel filter. There is only a filter in the tank.

They are pretty crap. I took my Turismo L76 there last year, and on the invoice they said it was an Impulse LS1. How stupid can you be.
