SS Inductions V6
hey guys just wondering if anyone has one of the SS inductions Growler. they reckon you get 11kw increase?
do they increase cold air intake that much or is it just a gimmick...
does the kit remove any factory stuff other than the air box and front panel?
i'd like to invest in one but im not throwing 500-600 bucks into nothing but an induction noise
IMO it's in no way worth the coin and the gains won't be anything near that much.
From what I've read and the feedback I've seen, the 2 hole mod is the way to go.

I fell for the 11kW increase theory too.
Makes a difference, coupled with a decent exhaust, BP Ultimate, VCM Tune etc., but 11kW is pushin it.
I got mine for 600 fitted it myself (saved on fitting costs).
The best thing bout it is the noise of the air being sucked through the induction, and you get that split-second before the exhaust let's out its roar.
I can spend days just revving my engine to hear that combo lol
I really like the look of the growler.. Suits the engine bay nicely. Do you have a "My Ride" thread trademarc??

The SS Growler just looks SOOOOOO good. Also MACE engineering on here does a cheaper CAI with the same kinda result, doesnt look as flash but cold air a -plenty. Visually id go the SS but through my research id go the MACE purely cause i dont drive round with my bonnet up.

Damn $600 for a CAI.
Im in two minds weather to get the MACE CAI, just gotta wait for the funds to increase.

There are places who sell SS Inductions Growler cheaper. Just look around. You'll be amazed, look at the ss inductions privateer list and play them off against each other.

I think if you visit their site, SS Inductions - Performance Automotive Enhancements, they're actually based in Qld, so if you buy it locally, or buy it directly from them, as opposed to going through a wholesaler, you will get a cheaper price.
You do pay for the convenience of being able to drive 15 minutes and pick one up, although I wouldn't have minded waiting an extra week to save $100

SS Induction. Hands Down. The growl it delivers is soo much better than Mace, although, and I've only heard and havent used the Mace, the Mace might give you better performance.
Now with chrome bits ;)
does a 6liter ss glower fit a v6??
