Removal of Auto Shifter ??

Hi guys,

just need some help on getting a dam auto shifter out, i have taken off the screw from the back and the whole thing came out cover and all, managed to get the button out after about 20minutes but the insert wont budge...anyone got any hints or something im missing, would be helpful as i have to remove another one from my new car after this one and dont want to damage it lol

Are you just trying to replace the bezel?
