Looking at buying a SVZ, Berlina or Lumina wagon. Just spoke to a guy selling a 2006 SVZ wagon. He told me he has issues with rear tyre wear and the car has only done about 50,000km. Although I knew VT's and some models after this had rear tyre wear issues, but I thought these problems have been fixed by the VZ model. He mentioned something about a kit to fix the problem but should this need to be done on a VZ? Is it still common, is it a design fault, and which cars were affected. Any advice on these cars would be appreciated in terms what to to look out for. Thanks
wheel alignment mate.
Also he might have just been carrying a shitload of heavy stuff in the back = way more wear.
Or if it's pretty low then yeah they chew through tyres pretty quickly (i know from experience hahaha)
i had mine lowered on sedan superlows with 18's and it didnt wear the tyres, on stock suspension with 15's it wore dead flat,
i decent alignment should fix it

get 20's and sedan superlows or lower and they will wear the shit through tyres. Rears would be lucky to last 10 000km's.
