sv6 weird noise :S

hi guys i have an 04 sv6 and have noticed a sort of metal rubbing/tapping noise coming from the bay whenever it is idling or @ 1800/1900rpm anything above or below that its fine. Ive had it for a while but its really starting to piss me off, just wondering if anyone has the same problem or might know what it could be.!!!

Have u checked the exhaust mounts? Could be loose bolts on the brackets.

Resonance in the exhuast, mine does it to.

mine sounds like an injector noise coming from the passenger side same noise the old RB30's made heard other alloytech engines make the same noise it worried me to any mechanic has a stethoscope tha they use to hear exactly where the noise is coming from

yer i think it might be the exhuast, i originally thought it might me the heatshield.
