VZ ss exhuast onto S

Hey guys,

Well i picked up a free 6ltr SS ute exhaust from the cats back. Just wondering if this would sound any good on a v6?

The Ute exhaust is longer and also the tail pipes come out straight at the back instead of on an angle on the sedan. If you shorten it by about 100mm it should fit. As for how it performs well I got one on my VZ calais and I am very happy with it. Apart from bolting straight on it has a nice note at idle nothing loud but you can hear it. It doesnt drone at all and has lifted the overall drivability all over the rev band. I also fitted the monaro cold air intake and did the two hole mod.

Hey cheers for that Calais. Actually i should also mention that its an S pack ute so length will be sweet! What you have said about the sound and performance is what i was looking for.

Cant wait for a lil bit of a tone.
