Default what plugs do holden run standard?

just interesting to know what they come off the line with?, as i did a service on the exec on the weekend (plugs and all) so the manifold had to come off..120XXX service and i pulled out bosch platinum plugs from it and was very suprised as i didnt think they would have been replaced since new, replaced them anyways with some NGK platinums as they dont come in an iridium option.

    cheers

The plugs you pulled should not be the originals as if the car had not been totally neglected, as far as servicing is concerned, the plugs would have been done on scheduled services around 45000 kms and then again at around 90000 kms

    cheers

Factory Plugs i took out of mine were Bosch Platinums (GM Part No. 92067204). $9.50 ex GST each from Holden.

I would change them much earlier than that. I'd say that 80-100,000km is more realistic, even less if you're running LPG.

LOL I change mine every service, no idea why, because I always buy platinums.

you should replace the sparkies with the exact same ones......... I went for the 4 point quad platinums and they didn't screw in properly........ so i went n got the exact same ones, the standard bosh platinums.

Ill prob change mine ar around 70,000. Reason, car was built Nov '04 has only done just ova 64,000km. If i recall Holden say every 5yrs or 120,000km for the sparkies.

Shouldnt need to mate. Platinums sparkies servicable life is around 80-100,000km. 120,000km is a long time without having to change them.
