converting executive trunk to clubsport

hi guys, i just purchased the clubsport vz trunk to install on my commodore executive. has anyone ever done this? if so, whats the process involved as it doesnt look easy? :S
any help is appreciated

I guess ur talking about the boot lid?
Firstly you'll have to disconnect the wires from the std one & u do the bolts on each of the lift arms.
Install of the new lid is just the reverse of the old lid , just make sure the lid is lined up properly, so it sits correctly.

Also did u get a wiring loom for the spoiler brake light?

Dont have to, prob just wire it into the std centre brake light.

Even the Exec has the wiring loom installed in the boot lid for the spoiler light. You just need to be careful when removing the wiring from the existing boot lid, to ensure none are damaged, then rethread them through the new lid after it's fitted. The spoiler light connector is clipped up inside the lid, just to the right of centre, where the lid folds over from the vertical rear surface to the horizontal top surface.

I learn something new everyday! I prob didnt realise it as i already have the spoiler but when i took off the parcel shelf trim, i did notice the centre brake light connector.

newayz bak to topic. thakns for ur help guys, last nite me n 2 mates managed to swap it over in less than 10 minutes, the new boot i was installing already had the motor in it so it was a quick swap over!
