when i get like ss/calais headlights i have been told when you put your high beams on the low beams will go out is that tru and if so can it be fixed some how

Mate, VZ Berlina lights are the same as the SS/calais just not blacked out. You wont have those issues! The wiring is the same.

Its only if you have exec or SV6 HL

yes but theres a thread on the forum somewhere about ss headlights and there are instructions on how to fix that problem if you upgrade your headlights

Here's some instructions on how to mod the wiring so the lows & hi's come on at the same time..
