Rear door on acclaim wagon won't lock.

Well when I lock the car, the alarm is activated and then I can open the rear door on my wagon?.

I can hear the actuator work when I press lock.

Although I can open the rear door using the button and the alarm goes off, which is good.

But I can't lock the rear door with the key, I looked at the mechanism and there is some damage....dammit.

Do I have to take the trim off and check the locking mechanism for damage.

Is there any parts i will need to replace if I remove the trim?.

Anyone done this b4???

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Press unlock, then get in the car and lock the drivers seat door, then unlock it and it should be all good

A diagram of the back door mechanism would be helpful. Any1?

Or an exploded view of the door trimmings for a VZ acclaim wagon would be sweet.
