After owning a vt for 6 years and replacing the battery twice i would have thought it would have been the same if not more easy to change in the vz. Why did holden decide to take the battery rail that clamps down onto your battery away in the vz, instead leavin a nut at the base where the battery sits? I dont have child hands and had to pull off the radiator shroud to get to it, Did i miss somthing or is that the only way?
I use a long extension and a socket...12mm if i remember
is it a huge deal to remove the shroud? as said just use a long extension

I never said i was flustered only that i would have thought it would have been the same as the vt if not more simple design. no need to be a smart ass about it. it's people like u and about 6 others that flame people on here whenever they want to voice there opinions.
you said it yourself, i wasnt being a smart ass at all, i was giving a serious comment
see above
shroud plays a big role, its not a an asthetic thing, it directs air into the radiator rather than over the top which could make it over heat

I think my sig sums up this thread perfectly though.
my vr is way harder to get to that hold down bolt....the vz is a walk in the park compared to that.
No biggy just do what you have to....and move on
This is my vr that I rebuilt ....CLICK HERE to see my vr on Cardomain
......if you want to check it out......Anyway make sure you rubbish a ford daily ....I am a 4DH8RZ Club lifetime member .................new members joining everyday
Holden probably changed it because a plastic block and a bolt is cheaper than a clamp over the top of the battery.
