Hey guys,
So saturday morning i went out to start my car, it starts fine and stalls after about 5 seconds. So i try start it again, and theres nothing, the engine doesnt even try to turn itself over. left it alone for about 10 minutes, came back, but now its trying to start, the engine is turning over but it wont start. This time i noticed the fuel gauge is reading empty, yet there was definatly atleast half a tank of fuel in it. After a whole lot of stuffing around, getting some fuel into it just to be sure, etc etc, i ended up disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. Now the car starts perfectly first shot, however, the central locking and power windows stopped working. I ended up finding a blown fuse which fixed the power windows, and now the buttons on the key will sound the alarm, but the central locking will still not work at all, minus the boot realease. Just wondering if anyone has any idea whats going on? Or what would cause it? or if there is anyway to fix it without going back to holden? Its really starting to annoy me, the alarm goes off every time i unlock the car!
Thanks.
How long did you disconnect the battery for? Try longer (1hr+)

its quite possible the key isnt contacting the ring terminal on the ignition, mine does it occasionaly, youll start it, the motor will stall, and the security light is flashing, if you turn the key to off and jiggle the key turn to on, and see if the security light goes out, itll be good for starting
in saying that, because of those other errors it would lead to bcm issue most probably
