VZ starting problems

Hi all!

I've recently bought a 04 VZ V6 One Tonner and am having real problems starting it. It only seems to happen after it has been sitting there for around 15-20 minutes...the mechanic i'm using removed the injectors and they checked out fine, he then replaced the fuel pump and that hasn't fixed it either. Im going through crap loads of fuel at the moment (last week i put two tanks through it and was lucky to get 400 k's) and i can smell fuel coming from the exhaust once its started. Are there any VZ owners out there who are or have experienced the same problem?? I don't think my wallet can handle much more punishment!

Any help or ideas would much appreciated!

does it run rough once running?

Na mate it seems to run fine, holden have had it on their machine and they reckon it checks out fine.....
