Question regarding exhaust setup.

I just bought my acclaim and i was told by a friend that because it's only 83,XXXKMs that it's not really worth it getting a full system because it would still be in good shape.

I want a nice sound coming out of the car but i'm more or less a rookie at the moment when it comes down to it.

Any advice on brands and what i could go with etc etc, would be appreciated.

tell your mate that most people dont replace exhausts because they are broken, but because they want a noise coming from it.

As for the exaust itself it all comes down to what you want from it.. some idea would be good. Off the shelf kits really dont do the alloyrec much justice

If you want better sound and don't have alot of money, then just get something CAT back. If you've got money then get headers and back.

But like said by impulse, people don't change cause it's broken, people change to break... i meen make things better.
