Ok guys some of you already know but ill start from the beginning.
I own an 05 VZ Exec, 4spd Auto with 150,000 on the clock (clicked over today). I bought it second hand with approx 120,000.
Spark Plugs were done as soon as I bought it. (120,000)
Oil and filter is changed every 5000
Diff oil every 10,000
Trans and brake fluid was done at 130,000.
I use 95 octane fuel.
I had big plans including full pacemaker exhaust, lowering it, dark tint, OTR, tune etc but from reading on this forum I have come to the conclusion that I am better off saving my pennies and buying something better. However this ride is going to be with me for at least another 2-3yrs.
What I would like to know is whats going to shit itself soon?
So far I haven't had any probs with the car. Its got so many Kms cos it used to be a transport car from Bega to Sydney, was always serviced by Holden and I actually have the service records for the car from when it arrived at the dealership until they sold it to me.
Should I be replacing things like bushes, O2 sensors, injectors, fuel pump etc now or do I wait for them to fail?
I probably sound like a nutter but I would like to have an idea what I'm in for in the next couple of years. Also has anyone else got this many Kms? I hope im not the only one lol.
Thanks in advance guys
on my acclaim with roughly the same kays Ive done
- water pump
- castor rod bushed
- shocks all round
- front hubs
- power steering hose, but that was part of a recall/bulletin repair so it may have already been done.
I believe one of the Oxy sensors may be on its way out too.
Oh and Transmission, but thats because it was noisey and easier for me just to replace then have removed and pulled apart.
That's all that comes to mind ATM
thanks mate
