    Default Exhaust tip help.

    Hi,

I want to put a better looking muffler tip on my car, but not at all sure where to start. I understand that a tip will not increase performance at all, but I want to go with a twin tip.

What is the size of the muffler side on the VZ commodore V6? Also, how do you acually get the bloody thing on? Duct tape???

Step by step instructions would be awesome.

    Thanks.
    Tom.

Personally I've always fitted the wider 4" Statesman tips to mine.... u really need to have them spot welded on.

The wider tip gives that girther note i find.... otherwise twin 2.5". Dunno personal choice really.

If you cant weld/done have the funds you could drill/pop rivet the tip on.

    Cheers.

pft drill it....... ..... what age do we live in. Take it to an exhaust shop, prolly cost $20 for them to zap it a few times with a spot welder. Atleast then it's welded on.

Cost me $790 to get mine done... Then again it was OK as I always wanted a TIG welder of my own

For normal people, yeah most exhaust places will do it for $20 or less
