A car bra won't help much if you're clipping kerbs with the bumper mate. Especially with a fibreglass kit, they can be prone to cracking.
A car-bra is used mainly on the highway to prevent stones and road debris chipping the front of the car.

I'd suggest looking into having the bar repaired. Fibreglass is reasonably cheap to repair, even better if you can do it yourself.

Try to get it repaired or new is really the only option because if your hitting stuff now what will happen is the cracks will get bigger over time and if a car bra is on it may mask any problems.

Car bras look worse in my opinion, not to mention when u take it off the paint looks all new and the rest of the car has faded. I'd just look for a new bumper mate.

I don't believe it should be on there long enough to allow fading like that to happen.
Mine comes off when I'm finished on the highway. Yes they aren't the prettiest thing on earth, but I'd rather pay $400 straight up then have to fork out more later on to have stone chips and dents repaired.

Yeah that is true i guess, but if he's gonna leave it on instead of buying a new bumper for a fair while then it will be evident.

Ah, I see. Then yes, that would affect the paint, sorry buddy, didn't see where you were coming from originally.

As a rough guide, probably a couple hundred for parts and labour, another 400-500 for a reasonable spray job.
