SRS Air bag fault - HELP PLEASE !!

my air bag light cam eon after i put in a stereo and ahad a flat batery, i have tried all the computer reset thoings like taking the battery off ofr an hour etc. i ttok it and got it scanned and their was no error code, and they couldnt reset it or fix the problem, so it still comes up. What could be wrong how do i fix it?

Try and isolate what you did..
Is your stereo:
Hardwired/Cut loom - I'd return the car to 'factory'.. undo everything you did & put the old stereo back. Then you might be able to eliminate any wiring fault..take it back and get it re-tested.

Adapter harness - should've been ok, no suggestion apart from pull it out and put the factory things back and try reset / retest it?

Did you short anything? Leave something unplugged? Double check everything's plugged in..

did you take your airbag off the steering wheel?? if you dont put the wiring plug back on the airbag the right way around it will log a warning light & has to be reset by using Tech 2 tool (dealer visit)..
