Cradle was the CR-56 if you wanted to google it.
Depending on the phone you have i guess. I floated the idea of an external aerial but decided against it considering the phone i have seems to have great signal without the aerial. I also have a ck 7w in the ss, works great.

A Nokia CK-7W bluetooth kit will drop straight in and give you wireless handsfree (i.e. the phone can be in your pocket and it still picks up). I just sold mine because I didn't need it but there are plenty more on eBay for between 50 and 100 bucks...

Force technology make cradles for almost any phone on the market if you require charging/external antenna capability... I think the address is something like www.forcetechnology.com.au - try google

For anyone till looking i would recommend the parrot ck3200 as it was easy to install and has worked great ever since. For those looking to install the kits themselves i suggest looking at using an ISO cable to make it a bit easier. I got mine from LBH Retail and it made the installation a lot easier.

I wonder if you guys might find this thread interesting.....

NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT - Bluetooth HF adaptor VY/VZ

Interfaces between the factory harness connector to the radio, the factory style push-button (with a proper Bluetooth logo engraved on it, instead of the symbol of the ancient telephone handset...), and the Nokia CK-1W or CK-7W hands-free box. Work out to be less than half the cost of the factory phone kit, and works just as well - in fact better if your phone supports the advanced features!

    Try this link //http://members.cox.net/05gto/html/body_holden_phone_button_install.htm

Scroll about a third of the way down and there is a schematic drawing.

    Default Parrot MKi9100

Has anyone on here fitted a Parrot MKi9100 to a VY S Manual?

I would be keen to know where you fitted the bluetooth module, the display and the control module. I am planning to fit the mic above the rear view mirror, does this position work ok?

I have the patch cable from Holden and the wiring seems to be quite simple.

Any photos and comments would be appreciated. Thanks

Does anyone know the benefit or downfalls over buying the CK-1W or the CK-7W to work with Phreddy's adaptor? Whats the difference between these two Nokia kits and which would be the best to buy?

I have a Nokia N82 by the way.

    Cheers
    Matt

I don't know which is the best one of the 2, but one issue with Nokia kits is there is no voice recognition feature in the kit, the voice recognition must be done on the phone and unless your phone has that feature you cannot initiate vioce dialling with the hands free kit.

There are much better kits out there in my opinion. The Parrot one I am fitting has voice recognition and also allows iPod and MP3 players to be fed to your car stereo via the bluetooth kit either via bluetooth if the music player supports blue tooth or via the supplied cables which have a 3.5mm stereo plug, a USB connector and an iPod connector.

When you open the glovebox, you can access the harness for the mobile connectors through the right hand side there. Check your blaunpunkt manual for more information and wiring diagrams.

I noticed in another thread you mentioned WinMX for the VZ workshop manual - can you shed any more light on that one?
i have had one of these in my car since i brought it and never been able to get it to work cause i can't find the pincode for it
