black print around rear window

anyone know how to remove the black print around the rear window?

i installed a brake light but need to get some of it off. i tried scraping it with a variety of blades but it didnt really do much.

Dont think u can get it off. I imagine u removed the rear spoiler!
It most likley glued on very well, so u might be there for a while. U tried kero or wax/grease remover?

dont know exactly where your from, but unless youre really keen on a third brake light im pretty sure its legal here (in Vic) to only have two rear brake lights, its only illegal if you have three but only two are working.
i took my spoiler off too and have been tailed by cop cars here and there and they havent pulled me over. (Y)

why not fit a VE brakelight thats mounted at the top of the rear window?even if you retain the rear spoiler.
