Barloworld price question.

Car= Vz acclaim wagon 2004
Was told last week that my castor rod bushes are split.
Quoted $504.00 for repair.
Am I being ripped or should I go else where.
Please if you have any recommendations as where I can get the job done ,I would be very grateful.
I live in Victoria, Melbourne , Mulgrave.

Barloworld Glenny have been pretty good in my experiences, never been dodged. But try calling around a few other dealers in the area, so you can an idea of what price you're looking at.
Also, as it is out of warranty, it won't hurt to try UltraTune or even an independent mechanic.
Booran Holden in Dandy, and probably Ferntree Gully Holden would be the two closest to you from memory.

Hi Mate DO NOT REPLACE the castor bushes with Holden items go for a nolathane type bush.
It will make a huge difference especially under braking. and you find they probably work out a little cheaper than holden.
Try a specialised suspension place (just do a google search or someone on this forum should be able to recommend a good place over your way)
