Take off the exhaust alltogether and flip the extractors upside down to stick out the bonnet. Instant results.

All of this and it's still too quiet? All you can do is make it sound like a Hyundai if you try and make it louder than that.

We did this in my mate's old hilux which was on its last legs anyway. So we pulled the entire exhaust out and flipped the extractors and tapped the new holes to fit the side of the engine.

It had no bonnet anyway so we cut the pipes down to size to get 6 straight-cut pipes sticking out the top of the engine. Started the car and it sounded awesome, it blew heaps of smoke too (which was cool). It also kept flareing out the pipes when we hit the throttle and backfiring shocking amounts. It honestly sounded like an alcahol funny car without the base.

Reccomend it for any paddock basher.

AS yours is a single system you will need to fit one of these O pipes from Kale Auto.

Stick a truck horn on your car which you can beep whenever you feel the need for more noise. Or you could start yelling out the windows while you drive.

My old Bluebird had a cat, a muffler in the middle and a smaller muffler at the end.

One day the cat started to sound like shit so I just took it to the exhaust shop and asked them to cut it out and weld it with straight pipe. That was $20

A few weeks later on the way to work I heard a weird noise coming from the back of the car, when I got there I had a look and the rear muffler was hanging down only help up by a rubber that it was swinging from. Took it to the exhaust shop again and another $20 to weld 2 1/2"

Started to sound pretty nice already but what I did next gave it the best sound.

Got rid of all the crappy pollution gear and put a 2 barrel webber carby on it.

After all that over a few weeks, it sounded like it was a worked straight six, felt like twice as much power, always turned heads.

Although most of it was illegal cops never asked about anything.

With my VN the cat is gone and sounding shitty.

Im thinking of buying a decat and replacing the rear muffler with a hotdog
