Little Black Box
Hi does anyone know what the little black box is that is above the relay board under the steering wheel in a VZ ? It has one plug on it. and is held in by one screw.
If it's a plug that you are referring to, it may be for the Tech2 diagnostic tool - used by workshop to diagnose and clear faults.
no not the receptacle for the workshop, next to that there is a black box that has a plug go onto it. I bought on from a wreckers. It came as a computer kit. ECU TCM and this box. I don't need it but I don't know what it's for.

BCM maybe! i can find out exactly what it is later on today if u still havent found ur answer.

hey man,,hw r u,,,did u already put ecu in ur car,,,,or not,,if yes,,can u plz tell me tht,,,hw u changed it,,,is it need to reprogram with newsoftware,,,or u just plugged in,,,,,,,i have a problem in my car with TCM (transmission cntrl module) its on behind the left front kick pannel,,,,i dnt knw,,,which was faulty,,ecu or a tcm,,,,if ecu,,,then hw much it cost u,,and did u go to reprogram it,,,or not,,,,bye
