    Default Interior Lighting

Hey guys, new to the forum please redirect me if this is the wrong place to be asking this. thanks

Got a pair of neon tubes which i intend to put down near the driver and passengers feet (my car is a VZ Executive). Both of these neon's have connection to the cigarette lighter. My question is how do i connect both neon's to a power source without using the cigarette lighter?

    thanks in advance

    Chris

just connect them to the power supply for the cigarette lighter, might be a little stone age but should work, might blow a fuse if u plug spmething that draws a lot of current into the cig lighter

take off your plastic around the steering wheel and stalks and find the wire that connects to the headlights and solder it on. then you have to earth it, i did on a nissan and earthed it on a blot near the door, it looks clean and no evidence of wries.

you will have to cut off the button switch that you use to turn them on and off, this is the wire that connects to the headlights wire..

So every time you turn your lights on your neon's will turn on too. Most professional way to do it.

why don't you just take the dash and councoul off, and run all the wires with the other wires .. that would be just as clean and easier ....
