Default Electric antenna manual height adjustment

Hey guys, i have just replaced the mast of the electric antenna in my dads VZ calais and it goes up and down fine, but when its at its lowest point it sits into the guard about 1-2cm lower then the old one used to. Is there a fine tuning manual height adjustment to make it stop level with the gaurd in the black surround part

50 looks and no reply . Someone has to know if there is a fine adjustment on the Calais electric antenna? It works perfectly fine as it is. but it just goes down about 2cm more then it used to

Are you sure the top of it it is fitted into the guard as high as it needs to be? I have not pulle done out of a VZ but in a VN you can adjust this height a bit. The Calais ones can be adjusted manually can't they? The only ones I have mucked around are either fuly up or fully down and I had one that would not go fully down I just took out the big gear that goes onto the mast and pulled the mast out a bit, put it back together and it found the correct position.

yeah its all fitted into the guard properly. It does have the adjustment buttons on the head unit. But when you turn the head unit off the antenna goes down and it goes right into the guard about 2cm lower then level with the top as it previously did. ( it may sound minor, but dad is a perfectionist. So im just trying to get its lowest point about 2cm higher then it currently is)
