Default VZ wagon rear window washer

Hi all, I just upgraded from a VT to a VZ wagon and I have this annoying issue with my rear window washer pump. I’m not sure if this is normal but when I push the lever away from me to operate the rear window washer I find that it squirts water on both the rear window and the windscreen.

I’m sure that when I owned my VT wagon pushing it away would squirt the rear window only and pulling it towards you would squirt the windscreen only.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I have just upgraded from VY sedan to VZ wagon.
You are right with your VT...The VZ should operate as pulling the lever towards you squirts front windscreen ONLY and push away rear window ONLY...sounds like wires crossed?

Yeah thanks guys, I had a quick look this morning and what I found was that when I disconnected the two hoses from the pump it worked the way it should do, which means it shouldn’t be an electrical problem. With my wife operating the lever I put my finger over the outlet which had water pumping from it to restrict the flow, water would then start flowing from the other outlet and vice versa. I would say that I might have a dodgy pump.
