How is the ride with this if anyone has had experience?
Too low? Too uncomfortable?
not overly uncomfy
i now have sssl's in the back (lower than ultra on the ute) and it doesn't bother me too much
would you be able to post a side photo?
yeah mate no worries

thanks for the picture!
i think im still going to go ahead with it..
Oh and i have a sedan so there will obviously be more wait on the back and that's not even including passengers..
be careful goin to low mate, you will get serious rubbing if anybody gets in the back seat, and even over speedhumps, my mate got his guards rolled with 20's and when he has 3 people in the back it still rubs. just gotta be careful because the lower you go the more likely you are to wreck ur tyres, your probly going to need to upgrade ur shocks n everything if u go to that level which can be pricey...adjustable coil-overs might be your best option...but they are around 2 grand
i got a vz berlina. i slapped ve ssv 19's and ssl springs. i did the front shocks and its a very stiff ride.. im used to it now so i dont notice but if mates do they will ... i would highly recommend doing rear shocks as i left it for 6 months when i changed them the stock ones where in baddd shape. no reflex just sat there. the shock didnt spring back lol... gt monroes i got they are good
mate i have 20's on my vz wagons, and had sedan ssl's in now have bagss in the rear.
it used to tuck fair bit of the 20's with those springs in,
ride:: well on bumpy & terrible roads its not heaps comfortable, but on decent roads feels fine mate,
i reckon go ahead & get the springs, they'll be fine & you'll get used to the feel of it being low ectt
Guard worK:: mate ide get ur guards rolled, if youve got rear plastic guards on the inside of the rear guards, ide take them out at this height, i remember when i first lowered mine on ssl's & i left them in, chewed through my tyres so quick lol, & tyres on the 20's, well you can fit 245/35/20's, but ide just go 225/35/20's, thinner tyre but better for being loww, because the tyre will be in the guard more so the thinner, the less chance of it rubbing
hope that helps mate, ive got bags in the rear of mine, guards rolled as flat as they can with 20's & 225/35/20's on i get no scrubbage at all, & even when ive got it fulled aired out driving around, only rubs a little, but make sure you take out rear plastic guard shit![]()
cheers
When I carry loads i pump up my poly airs so its not a worry, you need to be careful over speed bumps obviously, and it can't get into some car parks, but for me that isn't a worry. Tyres don't even think about scraping, camber and caster kit is a MUST. You will never get perfect camber but they can get it fairly even. Guard rolling is also a MUST. I run 245/30/20 on the rears and 225/20/20 on the front, next tyre change I'm going to put 235/20 on the front though.
Comfort will be fine. Scraping on the other hand, those tall speed humps and steepish driveways will scrape like no tomorrow. As long as the springs arent super hard like the HDs, then it shouldnt be too rough.
i have sssl in the back on 19s in my ute cant put any weight in it but it looks sick the rim sits inside the guard
