Impulse, Vodoo or Black
I'm buying a sv6 but cant decide what colour.
Black is a classic and always looks good.
Impulse blue looks good and is easy to find.
Vodoo blue for something different.
What do you guys reckon?

Voodoo blue looks quite nice,but i reckon black although i am biased to that colour :P
i agree vodoo's a good looking colour,
but i don't know if i could drivve a car that colour everyday?

Voodoo blue didnt come in the VZ's, only available in the VE's. Unless u want it resprayed. Colour is Impulse

Turismo Blue, is like Torquay, very light
Impulse blue is much darker

I bought impulse blue and have regretted it ever since. Black is a timeless classic - will always look good. On the other hand, ask any panel beater/spray painter what colour you should buy and most will recommend silver.
At the end of the day, go with a colour you have always liked, not something thats the latest "fashion". For example, remember when getting a yellow gto/manoro was considered cool? They just look disgusting these days.. IMO!
yeah very true, however yellow boomed with the BT1 and holden has tried to capture the sports car market again with these hot flash colors that do nothing more than draw attention to yourself. 10 years down the track i dont think i would want to be seen in a tourism blue SV6, however black or silver will hold its value for much longer.
(note: personally i hate black because its so hard to maintain)

i was tossing up been impulse and turismo
but i've now put a deposit down on an impulse sv6
Just because I've always been a fan of silver/black cars personally. All along I was going to get these colours, however about a week before I bought my car I saw a impulse SS ute with rims and I thought - yeah that colour doesnt look too bad, maybe ill consider that...
Ended up buying it and now I'm just not a fan! wish i went with my first choice, hence my previous comment :-)
