Hey guys i got a bit of a proplem on my vz which is starting to give me the shits.
Last week while cleaning the inside of my car i must have gone a bit over board with the armoral because the next day when i got in it i noticed there was fog behind the instrument cluster where the speedo n that is. Its on the plastic and im not sure how i can get rid of it.
If anyone has any ideas id be very appreciative.
Thanks in advance.

if its on the clear plastic its possible to remove the cluster and get in there - theres' 2 screws at the top of the cluster, remove these, then it pops out by gently pushing up on it (theres 2x tabs that hold it in place at the bottom).
Then disconnect the plug so it pops out completely.
You'll need a butter knife or similar, and gently pop the tabs holding the plastic in one by one til it pops off, then clean it and do the reverse to install.
Just make sure you don't have the keys in the ignition when you disconnect it coz I think it can set errors off when it picks up no instrument cluster!
hope this helps
I had the exact same problem, and trust me its not worth going through the troubles of opening the cluster up and risk breaking clips.. I found eucalyptus oil and a bit of elbow grease did wonders. Try it out and let me know how you go..
Mate, its not hard to get the cluster out, let alone taking the cover off!
The Blue One
yer mine has the same problem aswell
I actually popped the cover off mine while at Oran Park in 2008 for the last ever V8 Supercars as I wanted to get the dials autographed as per my signature photo below. Butter knife did the trick while standing in the Holden Racing Team tent. Then it was popped off again to have Phreddy modify it a few weeks later.
As long as your gentle and just do a clip at a time and a bit at a time and work your way around the frame your right.
If your in Sydney I'm happy to do it for you!
