VZ Lumina, standard front bar?

Hey guys,

Can anyone tell me what my standard front bar should be on my VZ Lumina?

Just had an accident and need to replace it. At the moment I have a standard Executive front bar like this: http://www.nextcar.com.au/i.holden.c...utive.hrbg.JPG

But when I google Lumina they all come up with a Berlina front bar like this: http://www.nextcar.com.au/i.holden.V...mina.05sep.jpg

So has my front bar been incorrectly changed by the previous owner? or was the Berlina front bar an option and its fine to stick with the standard front bar?

mine has the berlina bar, as do the few others i've seen... but i wouldn't have a clue tbh, i thought the berlina bar was standard

well if yours is a lumina, it shoulda come with a lumina front, 2nd pic

if u have executive front on ur lumina maybe previous owner put it on.

but it isnt an option to get a executive bar on a lumina, should be stock with lumina bar.

you can fit any VZ front bar on vz's, lumina,ss,calais,exeutive wat eva:)

I would say it was an option, if you have a look at redbook it shows the Lumina with the same bar as an executive. I would say there was probably an option to fit fog lights and in this case they would put a Berlina bar on to accommodate for that.

they released 2 lots of luminas, the one at the beginning of the vz range had the exec bar and then they released a runout just before the svz with the berlina bar for the end of the vz's

Spot on, there is a VZ Lumina
and there was a 2nd VZ Lumina Executive
the 2nd ones (like mine) have the nifty fog lamps with the Berlina style front bar and are usually better optioned than the 1st Lumina's. or from what I have seen.

This is true.

Honestly, either bar will fit. As will all the others (i think)

Quickest way to tell would be to check for the foglight plugs.
