Head Deck

Firstly i did search and found one photo of a vz with a head deck and the pocket below it.

i want to get a head deck to get a soundsystem eventually, and its also got aux. but. i like the look of the stock unit, the screen and everything.

-im looking for photos of a vz with a head deck installed just so i can see what its gonna look like, and get a feel if i hate it or not. not going to get one of the dvd oneS, But throw it up anywyas

Hey there matey, if you like the stock unit, why not get phreddy to weave his magic on it, you will be amazed as to what he can do. look for ASR in the sponsors section of the forum, and also he's from Sydney too it think.

I will post up a photo of my single DIN Clarion head unit unit tomorrow so you can see what it looks like with the pocket below. When i got my Dash done by Phreddy he did say my setup was the best he has seen as far as looking standard and install quality. That being said Phreddys RCA out mod to the standard headunit is amazing!, well worth it imo.

looks fine. i got a pioneer single din with green illumination to match the rest of the dash. also apparently you can get blaup**** decks that keep steering wheel controls or alternatively get hpreddy as people have mentioned. . .

over a year? I booked my conversion in and had it done just a week later.. Tried calling him?

Have a look at the AUX mod from phreddy, alternatively if your willing to spend the money there is an iPod unit from some other guy that is FULLY integrated with iPod, charges, full playlisting, steeringwheel controls etc..

i went ahead with the head deck and the pocket below it. clarion head deck with ipod connection wired through the back and out the glove box.

Daz88p - yeah mate there Venetians. only have them in occasionally cause they rattle like a mofo.

commie - there the VZ monaro gauges. ive got an ipod jack on my setup too. if you look very closely you can see the white plug underneath the useless flap under the stereo. tucks away when not in use.
