Shudder in rear

i have this thump everytime i hit a bump or accelerate hard. its near my rear right wheel. nothin wrong with the wheel or suspension. i think it could be the strut. any help?

sure it's not your gearbox? is your car auto? trans might need a service.

Did you check the rear muffler? Mine was hitting the body when I accelerate from standstill or go over a bump. Just bent the bracket slightly the rubber ring attached to and it has been OK since then.
