Default boot light problem...caused interior lights to not work

    hey guys,

today i got around to changing the bulb for the inside boot light which turns on when the boot is opened, (2005 VZ SV6 btw),

i went down to supercheap and got an identical bulb to put in,

the problem occurred when i stupidly removed the old bulb and just clamped the new one in instead of unplugging the connection putting the bulb in and then re-plugging it in.

when i installed the new bulb, i saw a little spark and later noticed the interior door lights, glove box and boot light that i tried to swap over weren't working,

now have a blown a fuse or something? if so, where is this fuse located?

    cheers for any help.

under the steering column, just pull the plastic cover off from the top and it will clip off..

When u remove the plastic cover, you'll see the fuses on the right side. There is a fuse puller located at the bottom of the fuse panel.

Also with the boot light make sure the wires don't touch the body, thats wat will cause the fuse to blow
