Fitting VE Sports Steering wheel onto VZ SV6

I like the look and feel of the VE Sports steering wheel, i'm tossing around the idea of fitting one to my SV6. 1st of all does anyone know if its compatable with the VZ and would fit, and has anyone attempted or successfully done this. The only problem I can see is maybe the paddle shifters set up on the VZ steering wheel causing grief? Once again the cost factor could also rear its ugly head.

hmmm.. i'de be concerned about the airbag compatibility more than anything.. why not look into a VZ GTS wheel or something off the same series? would be a straight swap that way.. I'm sure like all mods that you could put the VE wheel on, but like you also said cost would probably start to play havoc. If however the airbags have the same plug, and the spline is the same in both models then i can't see why it wouldn't work.. you may lose the radio button functionality and the paddleshift may not swap over.. let us know how you go but

Thanks for the feedback, might be putting that idea away for time being having enough trouble getting my binnacle guage project happening.
Trawled a few wreckers 2day no luck getting any goodies, theres always saturday lotto, just go out and buy a HSV big banger cash.
