    This is my VZ Calais.

BUT, if you get them, get them in the 20" if you can. I wish i had, the 19s are too common.

Mate check out the advanti chameleon wheels, I think their wicked!! and not many people have them to. They would look clean on a black calais...

I think you can fit 22s but like most cars. its difficult... 19s or 20s would be the best

also keep in mind I have not seen them on a holden yet, so they could look ugly.

Yeah i agree with the senators, way too many have em, i just love the way they look on this car, I actually don't like the rim all that much by itself. Anyway, get the G8s completely black if you can. All black G8s in 20" on a VZ calais would be so sexy. Going to need to roll your guards if you haven't already, cos 20s will be tight. I've seen 22" on a Pre VE before, it looked stupid. They sure as hell dont fit properly, nor do they look like they fit properly. How about a set of Pentagons (20")? This is lincoln's car off LS1...

or how he had it before, which i prefer, black SSVs,

Oh is your car standard height? If so then yeah you should be fine. It may rub on real big bumps, but it depends what tyres you have on. If you running 225s you'll probably be ok. If you lower it, you'll need your guards rolled. You can roll them yourself with a heat gun and a rubber mallet, its fine if you do it slow. I rolled both my fronts back cos i was getting a bit of rub and im running 235s on 19s. But it depends on your car height.

Um, a lot of people get it professionally done because there is risk of cracking the paint. Basically, the inside of the arches have a lip. On the front they are factory rolled a fair amount, and the rears aren't rolled at all. All you basically do is heat up the paint with a heat gun and tap the lip of the arch upward to give clearance for the wheels. Any wheel shop can do it for you of your not confident with tools, ask around to get some prices, it's normally around 60 per arch. But put the wheels on first and see if they clear the arches before you spend the money on it.

i would go 20 inch max but i reckon 19inch is just right for the VZ's. Although i do like the look of the VZ SSZ 18inch which is also on the VZ monaro's painted in black or the factory silver would look tough!!

Youre a laugh buddy. Yeah it would suit a silver calais for sure! would need to be dumped pretty low tho, to make up for them being 18s... but definately a cool option.
