Default should i buy a vz???

Hey, I need a family car and have been offered a 05 VZ station wagon that has done 60,000kms. I am not good with cars but have heard there are engine problems?? Just looking for feedback...buy or let it go?? thanks

there are engine problems with every single car ever built... Look thru the service history and if its been stamped every 15000km then there's a fairly good chance there shouldn't be anything wrong with it. Maybe even ask the owner if they have had any problems...

Otherwise, it sounds like a pretty good deal

Even better if it has been serviced every 10000klm, How much do they want for it ? Not that many k's on it either only doing approx 12000 per year.. So depends on what they are asking & which model it is.. Exec or Acclaim etc

Engine problems? the only one I can think of is the slow return to idle when the clutch is pushed in. But I'm guessing you're looking at an auto.
