Central locking issue

Hey guys and gals,

I'm having an issue with the drivers side locking on my VZ SV6. When i go to unlock the car via the remote the car unlocks, however the drivers door doesn't completely unlock. You can hear the mechanism repeating to try and properly unlock it. So to open it i must reach through the back door and flick the switch up. Then opening the door sparks the alarm. Also while it is stuck the central locking wont lock as the door is trying to unlock itself.

Anyone had a similar issue? Is it an easy fix?

The door actuator maybe stuck, take the door trim off & see if u can free it up by using some WD40 or silicon spray

i had similar problem more than likely solenoid is not working. easy to adjust or replace let know how u went

Mine just started to stick a little today. Anyone know the costs to get the solenoid replaced?

you have to buy lock and solenoid together about $165 from gmh
