Default Koni adjustable springs from vn into vz ute

Hi, just wondering if it would be possible to put the springs and shocks which were under a VN SS, into my VZ ute? They are new new springs and shocks my mate just decided to drive his car into tree and write it off.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

Did the SS have IRS? still not sure if the sedan springs will fit into the ute. Also front springs from v8 to v6 are different.

Fairly sure it did have IRS, will have to check, I guess I could just try and put them on and see if they fit.

If its IRS the springs will fit. But not the front because the V8 springs are taller than the V6 springs to compensate for the extra weight.

Commodore Lowering Kits! Check that. I'm fairly sure only the rear springs will fit if the Vp had irs. Nothing else will fit i'm pretty sure.

VZ V6 and VN-VY V8 fronts are the same. The rears are different as the ute and sedan have different rate springs. The VN wouldn't be IRS, as it came out in the VP.

Nup. VZ front shocks have a different sway bar mount to VR-VY.

What I meant was that the springs are the same.

If he had a VN SS then his old springs would be different to that of VT-VZ V6 & V8 as they would be for the holden v8 which is 40kg heavier than the current V6 & V8's
