Red face Going back to the VZ

    Hey guys,

Just had some stuff to share.. Had garaged my VZ Sv6 about 8 months ago when I was moving away from home.. But have decided to go back..

Now that Ive decided to keep the car for another year or so, I was just wondering what should I look into. Its got about 60K kms, Im the original owner, its in great condition overall.

I was thinking of starting out with an exhaust, 2 1/4' to 3' maybe, and then after that probably dropping it a bit. It is my daily driver, so I want it to look as stock as possible. A nice set of rims are on the list too, but nothings caught my eye as yet. Any opinions welcomed.

Well just wanted to share that, here are a few pics.. They were taken before she was garaged. So pumped to see her again , its definitely going to be an improvement from the Grand Cherokee Ive been lugging around for the past 8 months

hmm maybe you should firstly look into getting it cleaned! haha

a nice set of gloss black 20's with a chrome lip and lowering to tuck them in nice would look good.

    keep it simple

if you want it to look as stock as possible, why ARE you touching it and putting a zorst on it? clean it, replace the lion AND is it really an S? cause i know VZs produced an SV6! Maybe change that badge too

Haha yeah she definitely will be getting the entire treatment once she get's out of storage. Those pics were taken after having some fun in the sand.

Reason im going for an exhaust upgrade is because I find the stock single tip ugly.. Much prefer the dual tip, and if Im gonna change the tip, I might as well do the entire system and get some more ponies out of her at the same time.

As for rims, my max size would be 18's running the brakes I have now.. I got the DBA Street Series rotors all around, paired with PBR's ' Full On ' Brake pads, which look fantastic behind the smaller wheels. If I go above 18's I know that Im gonna want to do full braking system upgrade to fill up the excess space behind the wheels..

And as for the badge, Ive always hated it.. The Holdens are sold as Chevy's in the Middle East, and the commodore's are re-badged as the Lumina. This is the Sv6 version, but its just sold as an ' S '. Chevrolet Lumina S
Im definitely going to be getting the original Holden badges back on asap. Just need to find them lol.

As for interior mod's. I replaced the stock single CD with the 6 disk, and that was pretty much it oh and the windows have been V-Kool'd ( Clear Solar Tinted ).. Been reading up on the 2 hole mod, seems easy enough, I plan to give that a try too.
