how do i take it off?

hey guys,
just got a car and its got a phone/gps holder thing next to the h/u.
for memory i have to pull the head unit out to get it off??
I dont have to tool to do that is there any other way to do it?

You could always try making your own h/u tool out of a metal coat hanger.
