How much does it usually cost? An average, more or less..
I need to get it done very soon and just wondering on the costs..
Thanks
Well my 100,000km service cost around $340 i think. If thats any guide to go by?
I paid $250 for mine, but I needed extra things done so it depends if you need anything else done.
"Nonsense, this is the kind of coverings what we humans wear at this period of time. I'm quite sure of it."
See my ride here
90,000 km service, according to the Owner's Handbook requires the following to be re-plenished or replaced:
Oil and Oil Filter
Brake Fluid (every 2 years) clutch fluid the same
Radiator Coolant if after testing the % level is down etc
Replace Air Filter element
Replace Fuel Filter
plus anything else that they find faulty or un-roadworthy (they should consult with you before proceeding with such work/replacements)
yeah, cost me $250 obv if you need the extra stuff like coolant, brake etc fluids then it will be more
Chev badges are an instant fail
why don't you get a few quotes from mechanics and see how they compare?
If you do your own oil, plugs leads and air filter ect can make it bit cheaper
Well my friend can sell me a voucher to MIDAS for $150 and it includes 1 major service and 2 minor services.. (Should i?)
I have the two-hole mod done to my air intake, will they ask about it?
no they wont ask about the 2 hole mod
its up to you whether to take the midas voucher or not
Chev badges are an instant fail
250 bucks will cover it easily with most mechanics's. My services usually cost more as i take my own oil and filter which are higher quality and i get my 5 speed auto tranny serviced regularly.
hey gus, whats ur email address and i'll send you an excel document...or you can send me an email at bodyboardlife93@hotmail.com and i'll reply to it..it has all the service intervals, what gets replaced, part numbers, prices, quantites (litres of oil etc)...and the all up amount...what exact car is it so i can give you the right file..
cheers mate

$340?......$250? Do it yourself and save 150-200 bucks!
'Ah well, I suppose it had to come to this.'
if you got the right knowledge and equipment..maybe invest that 150-200 bucks in tools and service manuals for future services..?
