    Default buzzing noise

hi, i got a problem with my v6 berlina 60,000kms, everytime i accelerate and the revs get 1750rpm, theres a buzzing noise that seems to come from behind the glove box area, it only last a second but is very annoying. anyone else have this problem or any thoughts on what it might be? any help much appreciated.

Have you tried listening in the engine bay and making sure it not coming from something in there.

So if you rev the engine while in neutral it doesn't happen? Thats fairly strange.

My mate had the same problem, turned out to be a bunch of midgets in his glove box playing the vuvuzela.

Is it related to the A/C fan at all? I had to replace mine after it developed a buzzing noise. It used to annoy the crap outa me.

My first thought would be A/c but not sure where the module is on these. I 'm the same tho, little vibes and rattles just mean louder music.

The fan is located beneath the glove box. That's where it is on a Calais anyway. Pretty easy to remove.

Yep. My Calais had the same noise and it was a crook bearing in the fan unit. Replaced under warranty, so can't help you with how to get it out.
