yeah, you will need to bridge the wires underneath the steering wheel column to get low and high beam on together.. its the plug at the back of the light that is different..
I did just notice you said driving lights, do you mean fog lights or low beam?

i meant low beam, my dad has been calling them driving lights when we were testing them out, just getting used to the different words sorry, so would i just solder them together? i wired them up today they plugged in fine and reacted to what i wanted them to do.
but on a aseperate query, the foglights that i have are from a VZ and my VT didnt come with foglights, how would i wire them up?

you would run them into a switch, dunno bout the VTs, prob best to take the car to an auto elec if you only have basic skills, get the job done properly, have heard of the lights being bridged behind each plug aswell!

also with the headlights do search for when someone's changed VT lights to monaro lights as they did the same thing! You' should find how to's and photos and god know what.
im a quick learner and can do things right if i practice first, dont have enough money for auto electrician yet, but it would be the best bet aye? what do you mean brdging the lights behind the plug? do you mean running a wire from one globe to another?
thanks for that mate, ill have a search now, i just wasnt sure if they would be the same, havent heard of many people putting a VZ SS front onto a VT front.
thanks for all you help guys

not quite mate.. in the plug itself there are the connections for each bulb, high beam, low beam etc.. apparently when you bridge the low beam to the high beam, they will stay on.. bridging is simply connecting the two wires Together like a bridge inbetween the two..

ohhh i thought you ment behind the globes, im following now, you are meaning on the clips that plug into the light, do you know if the wires are colour coded or labelled? or just trial and error
