hey im new to this forum stuff. so can someone help me with catback systems. i been to my local exhaust shop and he told me most brands like redback on the alloytec engine sounds like a magna falling apart. he recommended a berklee system for 700 including installation. and anyone know any good places in melbourne north west suburbs to get it done.

and another question. what you guys think of ss inductions? is it worth it?

oh and my car is a 06 vz sv6

    cheers

The best system on the VZ SV6 is the 2 1/4" twin into 3" single. It isn't loud but does give a good improvement right across the rev range. It bolts straight on to the flanges under the gearbox and goes twin 2 1/4" into two straight through mufflers then into a single 3" pipe, through a 3" resonator then exiting as twin 2 1/4" again. No drone, a nice deep note, but as I said, not very loud. I do these systems for $485 shipped.

The brand is Redback. I ship them from WA. It isn't very loud, deeper than stock, but it doesn't have that alloytec fart that most systems tend to have.

Do you have any recordings/youtube posts of this set up?
