With the LS1,L98 and etc, there is a airflow sensor, called the MAF (mass airflow sensor) what they do is remove this, this is usually how the computer calculates how much fuel to put into the engine.

i used to have this type of tune on my VE, but have since converted to a mafless, they remove this sensor, and the computer now calculates the amount of fuel due to manifold pressure, accelerator % and prediction. It is a lot more responsive than the maf tune, and it also gained another 10rwkw. It is worth the money, it takes longer when tuning due to getting accelerator % right for different speeds, but when you put your foot to the floor, it is all out HP, no flat spots nothing, it is a fantastic way to really tune a car
Nothing better than big CI. 555rwhp from a NA V8, next another camshaft to see what more I can get from it.

cheers for that Dazzak75. Your advice was helpful. Well looks like I need to go get an otr an mafless tune now. Will this get a better sound out. After getting my exhuast it sounds awesome at low revs but I want a bit deeper at higher revs. All th forums say just getan exhuast but I bought a twin 2.5 inch.

extractors will sound alot deeper. + power gains too. get them first so there compensated for in the tune. not sure how much difference it makes but seems logical. i got my OTR first then extractors so the guy touched it up on the dyno again so yea. saves ya having to dyno it twice thus saving $$$

    Hey Gavin,

I have a 2.5" twin on mine at the moment, but I have headers and hiflow cats too. just doing the catback wont increase too much, the standard manifold is quite restrictive, like 05 Senator said, do the lot at one time, headers, cats, OTR and the tune, if you do them in stages it will cost you money always having to put your car on the dyno.
