had an x-force 2.5 and was too loud and droney even for my supercharged sv6..

custom 2.25 with lukey muffler and no rear resonators sound trick, but is way to loud...
    YouTube - impulsesv6 custom exhaust

    rear muffler sorts that out

The alloytec V6's have a difficult time sounded good... the only one good SV6 exhaust i've heard is a twin 1.x? inch and no reso, good cats, pacemakers headers, and no muffler.. sounded better than a V8.. almost... but otherwise... everything else... shit, drones like nothing else... custom is the best way to go

I found a couple of links for the ve xforce cat back exhaust fitted to alloytec.
Auto ve alloytec will drone but the manual ve alloytec sounds really good... just ask exhast shopps that have fitted these and their feedback.
Heres a link to a web page with youtube sound / noise : JHP Vehicle Enhancements - Specialise in Holden Monaro and Commodore Spoilers, Body Kits, Tyre and Wheel Packages.
