06 vz service reminder not working

hi all, my vz `s pac ute does not show the service reminder when the service is due, can it be de activated??? i have only owned the car for just under a year but its the only vz i have ever seen without this feature... i USED 2 work @ a holden dealer

they can be de-activated with Tech 2.

It was supposed to be an option for fleet customers who service the cars at different intervals, so that way their sales reps didn't have the service message coming up at the scheduled time when they were running their own schedule, but yeh its just another feature the cars have that Holden after sales don't know about

Its a weird one but it can be done, I've done it to mine that's how I know!!!

The Service Interval/Reminder is set up in the tech instrument: I have seen this while the techie worked through an unrelated issue (Trapped Speed -- / Police Mode). As my car is ex-fleet, it had the Service Reminder set each service (10,000km). "Service Soon" or "SVRC" comes up when approaching the programmed interval. Cleared by pressing Mode, but SVRC will remain until the service is next reset.
