Hey everyone,
I just had my vz sv6 lowered with pedders sports ryders springs and the front hasn't dropped at all while the back has dropped 35 mm... the shocks and strutts are still the stock fe2... help?
Part no's
2151R - Front
2151L - Front
2643 - Rears
I've checked the part numbers over and over and i am 100% sure they are the "LOW" sports ryder spring. Any thoughts?
If they are anything like Kings springs then theres stuff all difference going from FE2 to lows.
Silver Certified.
just checked them again after the car has sat for a while,,,
the front is exactly the same as stock height -- 600mm from the outer rim to the guard
the rear has dropped about 30 mm -- 575 from the outer rim to the guard
* 17inch rims
i think pedders have labelled the front springs wrong giving me stock fronts and lowered rears...
If you had FE2 to begin with that is classified as lowered by Holden, so when you buy lowered springs from a suspension place their lowered are low compared to stock height Holden susp not FE2.
Did you specify how low you wanted (in mm) or did you ask for pedders lowered springs because it sounds like you needed to ask for super lows.

Going from the pedders gallery this is how my car should be sitting with the springs parts i put in....

Holden Commodore VY Sedan - Pedders Suspension
Instead of being 580mm at the front and 585mm in the rear like in the photos mine are 600mm in the front and 570mm in the rear.
I rang pedders up today and could not get a straight answer why. The guy said with FE2 suspension the sports ryders will drop it roughly 15mm all round.
